FAQ's
Course Details and logistics
Can I join a course after it has started?
Unfortunately it is not possible to join a course once it has already started.
We plan our courses so you get the most out of them, missing initial sessions will put you behind and impact your experience so we ask that you are able to join from the start of your course.
What do I do if I am on holiday for part of my course?
It's best for you to attend all sessions of a course, and do not have capacity to offer free sessions to make up for any missed time.
If you need to talk to us about attending a group session to catch up on a missed activity please contact us as we are always willing to discuss options.
Do I need any prior experience for your workshops?
We believe creativity is a journey so we aim to offer a range of courses designed to help you build your passion and creativity. To guide you along the way, we’ve designed a five-stage pathway. At each stage you can build on the last, building confidence and key skills. To find out more about the creative pathway head over to the blog!
Can children join your workshops
We believe creativity is for everyone and want our workshops to be a haven - a moment of rest, self care and discovery.
Children are welcome in most of our workshops unless we state otherwise in the description. For children aged 13 and under we kindly ask that a responsible adult joins them and books their own spot too. here is a little discount code to use to get a small discount on your child and adult slots:
Where are your courses held? Is the studio accesible?
All of our workshops take place in our dedicated art and craft studio on the first floor of prospect house at Prospect Business Park (the middle / main building on site)
Please note that access is via stairs as the main building unfortunately doesn't have a lift. If you can manage the stairs we are more than happy to make any adjustments needed to ensure your experience is as accessible and comfortable as possible- just reach out to discuss.
Do I need any prior experience for your workshops?
Our workkshops are designed to provide everything you need- tools, materials and resources are all included. For short courses we also treat you to a selection of delisious cakes and refreshments. On full day courses and retreats you will enjoy a light seasonal lunch featuring soup, freshy baked bread, and a side salad.
We recommend bringing along a notebook and pen to jot down ideas, or you can purchase on of our very own note sets when booking. Just turn up ready to get creative- we shall take care of the rest.
